Nursing pillow Roomate

Nursing pillow Roomate

The Roomate — your trusty companion from the maternity ward onwards, ready to go wherever you need it: from bedroom to living room, from hospital to car, on THE mat, while breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, before baby, with baby, after baby.

In short: a pregnancy pillow, a nursing pillow, and so much more!

The Roomate: just a simple nursing pillow?

Absolutely not! Our Roomate isn’t just a nursing pillow. At Mezamé, we love creating thoughtfully designed products that grow with you through the different stages of parenthood (and even before!).

The idea behind Roomate is that it has more than one use: first, as a pregnancy pillow, with just the right size and filling to help you get comfortable on those tricky nights #beenthere.

Then as a nursing pillow, giving you all the comfort you need for feeds (bottles included!).

The only catch: a dad or older sibling might pinch it for a nap or a cosy read!

We’re taking notes!

How to choose your maternity pillow?

Three things can help you choose your breastfeeding or pregnancy cushion.

First, the shape: the Roomate is flexible and can curve into a "crescent" that wraps comfortably around your body, making it ideal for breastfeeding in whichever position suits you best. It can also take a more elongated shape to support your back or bump during pregnancy.

Next, the size: the Roomate is generously sized! It gives you more freedom to move and more ways to use it.

And finally, the filling, which makes all the difference day to day! At Mezamé, we’re not fans of little beads: we’ve chosen a filling like the kind you find in pillows. It’s firm and plump, then softens just enough with use to suit whatever you need.

The hardest part is choosing!

You know us: at Mezamé, we like the things we use every day (especially the ones that help us through family life) to be useful AND lovely! Our Roomate is no exception: it comes in a wide choice of prints, to match your life mat… or not!

Bonus: whenever you fancy a change of look, all our colours are available as covers on their own, without the cushion.

Your questions

Our answers

How much does a nursing pillow cost?

A complete nursing pillow, including the cover and pillow, costs between €89 and €95 for the fluffy version. A cover on its own costs between €39 and €45.

Which filling should you choose?

At Mezamé, we’re not fans of bead filling! So we chose a pillow-style filling made from 100% Oeko-Tex-certified polyester: firm and wonderfully plump at first, it softens just enough over time to suit whatever you need.

Is there a difference between a pregnancy pillow and a breastfeeding pillow?

No! With the Roomate, you don't have to choose: use this versatile maternity pillow in its long shape during pregnancy, then curve it into a crescent for nursing.

When should you start using a pregnancy pillow?

As soon as finding a comfortable position gets tricky — often in the second trimester, as your bump grows. A pregnancy pillow helps you sleep on your side by supporting your bump and back and resting between your knees. It brings relief on those difficult nights right up until birth.

How long does delivery take?

Your order will be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. Interest-free payment in 2 or 3 instalments is available on orders of €150 or more. The Meza’team is here if you have any questions!
